OMG! This series by Rachel Higginson is just EVERYTHING! I’ve loved reading previous two books and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Kaya and Wyatt’s story!
The story is about Kaya, Wyatt’s sous chef or second in command in the kitchen. They’ve developed and friendship of sorts throughout the years of working together. Kaya is unbelievably attracted to Wyatt, yet she never does anything about it because she thought he hates her. It turns out, the attraction is mutual..
I love Wyatt so much. I feel like even though he’s a silent-cool-growly type of character, he’s the type of hero I prefer in a book just because he says what he wants and shows it. Kaya is a harder character for me to like, just because she is prickly and she has strong self-doubt about herself that I just think unnecessary with how Wyatt’s been treating her. However, to each their own and Wyatt is a close hero for me along with Killian. The first will always be Ezra though! Haha
Anyway, this story not only shows how love can build each other up, but it’s a sweet love story overall in a different setting of chef and restaurant world. I really do like reading it!
