Mists of The Serengeti by Leylah Attar

What an amazing journey. Leylah Attar, I love all your books and I just want to say that I am fully blown away by your latest masterpiece. The writing is just simply one of the most beautiful, poetic picture of Africa and everything is just woven beautifully each paragraph. Reading this book is just something you love to devour.. I just can not help but fall in love with the book overall..

The story is about two people that just suffered a great loss, Rodel Emerson (a Teacher from UK) and Jack Warden (a Coffee Farmer). This is not your usual love story, as it has many underlying theme interwoven together in the book. Yes, the bigger picture is it IS a love story, but it's more than that. It's about life and loss, moving on, acceptance, and so much more.

I love reading Rodel's description about Africa, since I have never been. I think this is a book with great journey and it's just so relatable in a way that sometimes, romance book can be too unrealistic in a sense that the hero or heroine might leave everything out of the consideration for the sake of love. This book is not like that AT ALL. I think everything written is just believable and these two characters are just so level-headed and mature to handle the things that they feel. Grief, love, pain, longing, it's just so.. real I can't help but feel with them and for them.

Jack Warden is such an amazing character to read, I just love love LOVE him. Rodel is also another character that you'll love. Overall, this is a recommended read.
