The Do-Over by Julie A. Richman

This book... wow. Just wow. I jump into reading without seeing any reviews, so I expected a light romantic-comedy type of writing, but boy was I wrong! This is such a refreshing book with the hero and heroine are a much more mature characters based on their age and experience, so you see another depth and perspective that is not usually the case in typical romance book.

Tara and Wes are each other's 'What If?' when they met one time on a cruise ship and have a deep connection. It's like you're with them, the way the author writes this. Anyway, they went on their respective ways and did not see each other again after 20 years!

The circumstances are different with Tara having just been divorced with a teenage daughter and Wes just lost someone in his life too. They form a friendship of sort and I feel like this is more like a slow-burn type of romance where you just know and can feel their connection but circumstances made them wary. Their love develop and it's beautiful to read such profound love after two people went through so much in their life. I love love love this book so much!

This is more than just romance with real life issues thrown in the book too. I recommend this for people who likes swoony heroes that are just good to the core.
