Ryker by Sawyer Bennett

Swoon!! I have read the first few chapters of this book a few months back and somehow stopped reading it because at the time, I couldn't quite get the feel of it (reading a book and reviewing a book for me depends on my mood and feelings at the time). I decided to go for it again since I love all the other books I've read in this series and this one DID. NOT. DISSAPOINT!

Ryker is the fourth book in the Cold Fury Hockey Series, and is a new goalie for the team. He is nearing the retiring age and has been thinking about it since he feels like it's okay to retire should he stop playing hockey. He's currently at the top of his game in the hockey world and being recruited by Carolina Cold Fury is a great career for him. He just got his divorce settled and is raising two daughters alone when he met Gray Brannon, the team's general manager.

Their attraction is very visible and you can feel it just reading this book, Gray is a heroine that I genuinely love because although she is a serious and smart person, she is not as ruthless as people pictured her. Although they first tried to not engage in each other's desire, they have a relationship that nobody can know about.

I love this book so much and I love Ryker as a dad!
