I first read about Tiffany on Everything I Left Unsaid and The Truth About Him, and to be perfectly honest, I couldn't get her character then. But reading this book shed a new light that made me think differently towards her.
This is Tiffany and Blake's story. I've always wanted to read about Blake, because he is such an arrogant character and I just love those types of characters LOL! Anyway, this book is a standalone but I would recommend reading it in order to get a background on everything and just understand a bit better about the characters beforehand.
Blake is Tiffany's brother-in-law that paid her off a year earlier to disappear from him and his mother's life. A year later, they have another encounter and Blake finally saw another side of Tiffany he didn't realize was there. The connection was there, and even how wrong the circumstances was, they can't ignore it.
Tiffany is a good character that has a good head on her shoulder, she is trying her best to build a better life for her children and Blake is not going to ruin it for her. Blake is a character that always try to close off emotional entanglements, so being with Tiffany surely wrecks that.
Reading these two come into their love is just great, because this is not a classic black and white type of romance and I love reading it! I hope we get an epilogue tho..
